Chances of moderate rain / snow on hills in N, NW Baluchistan during Saturday & Sunday, much of KP, Islamabad (Malakand, Hazara, Twins, Kashmir heavy at times), upper Punjab during Sunday late to Tuesday. 
Some upper areas may experience showers on Wednesday/Thursday also.

Good / heavy snow possible on hills of Malakand, Hazara, GB, Muree, Kashmir etc.

Light rain/shower chances for south Punjab, Jacobabad, Larakana, Sukkur, Sibi, Khuzdar, Lasbela on Sunday or Monday.
Passing clouds expected in most of Sind during Friday to Monday with some chances of light shower or drizzle on Sunday or Monday then fall in temperature is expected.

This Winter is going not end any time soon Yes! it is rite one of the most powerful Western Disturbance is going to Grip Pakistan from 1st Feb 2014 Regions most affected would be extreme North and Central Pakistan, but southern regions (Karachi and Sindh) are also in for s
ome rain followed by an other COLD WAVE (not severe).
KPK & Gligit baltistan:

Widespread Torrential Downpour accompanied with moderately heavy snowfall expected across the region. There are 70% chances of Urban Flooding in Major Cities. Temps are likely to dip by 4-6'C Again. (Peshawar / Chitral / Skardu / Naran / Khagan valley / Kalaam) as per our calculations an estimated more then 250mm rainfall is expected in this region.

PUNJAB:

Widespread Heavy Rain expected in Northern Punjab (islamabad / Rawalpindi / Lahore / Jehlum / Faisalabad and adjoining regions) where as lite to moderate Rainfall is expected in Central and Southern Punjab accompanied with Lite to moderate Snowfall in Mountainous range Muree / Bhurban and adjoining regions. There are 50% chances of Urban Flooding in northern Cities of Punjab. as per our calculations an estimated more then 200mm rainfall is expected in this region.


BALOUCHISTAN:

Widespread Torrential Downpour expected across the region where are very heavy Rainfall is expected in Gwader / Pasni / Dalbadin / panjgur / khuzdar where are moderate Rainfall is expected in Quetta / Ziarat / Zhob and adjoining regions accompanied with lite to moderate snowfall over mountainous range. There are 50% chances of Urban / flooding & Flash Floods in western region of Balouchistan. as per our calculations an estimated more then 150mm rainfall is expected in this region.


SINDH:

Scattered Rain / Thunder showers is expected in upper Sindh upper where as lite showers expected in central and Coastal Parts of Sindh. No Threat of Urban flooding OR Flash floods the dusty and foggy condition in this region will ease up from 4th feb onwards. as per our calculations an estimated 10-20mm rainfall is expected in this region.

KARACHI:

Most of the Weather Models are showing lite Rain Showers for Karachi on 2nd - 3rd feb 2014 from this 1st upcoming Western Disturbance. as per our close calculations an estimated 2-5mm rain is expected.

---- Around the 7th of Feb, another northern latitude WD, WD-12 comes along in the Northern Hill States of the sub continent. Would precipitate in Extreme Northern Pakistan.
---- Early indications show WD-13 to be effective and strong and could cover Pakistan completely on the 10th.

During that period there are chances of isolated heavy rain in various areas of Azad Kashmir (Haveli, Poonch, Kotli, Bhimber districts and few adjoining areas). For past 1 week I'm following a Strong pattern over COLA Long Range Forecast Model and as per Different Calculations and Long Range GFS Readings it has been Confirmed that a Very Strong Westeren Disturbance System (WD) will Start effecting Parts of Pakistan from late 25th Jan Onwards and will Grip most of the Country from late 27th Jan except eastern and Coastal Sindh entire Pakistan May get long awaited Heavy Downpours / thunderstorms and moderate to Heavy Snowfall over Mountainous Range. 

Karachi may get some lite Showers as well @ 30% Rain Probability. 

P.S: This is a long Range Forecast and may Change due to Different Jet Streams Interruptions across the globe.

Rain and freezing rain will be possible for portions of the Mid South along a front. Up to a tenth of an inch of ice will be possible. Travel impacts should be short lived, however, because temperatures should rise above freezing quickly. Elsewhere across portions of Southern Missouri and Illinois, some light snow will be possible, but accumulations will be less than an inch. Winter Storm Warnings are also posted for portions of the Rockies where up to 16 inches of snow will be possible through tomorrow afternoon.

Rain with Snowfall over the hills predicted in Balochistan during next 48 hours

Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) predicted rain with snowfall over the hills at scattered places in Balochistan on Tuesday/Wednesday.

Spokesman of PMD informed that a westerly weather system presently giving rainfall in Middle East is likely to enter in Balochistan on Tuesday. Under the influence of this weather system rain with snowfall over the hills is expected in Makran, Kalat, Quetta and Zhob divisions at scattered places on Tuesday while at isolated places on Wednesday.

Scattered rain with snowfall over the hills is also expected in Upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (Peshawar, Malakand and Hazara divisions), Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir while at isolated places in Upper Punjab (Sargodha, Rawalpindi and Gujranwala divisions) and Islamabad from Tuesday (Night) to Thursday. 

Snowfall in Murree and Galyaat is also expected on Wednesday/Thursday.

The day temperatures in upper parts of the country are expected to remain 2-3 degrees below normal on Wednesday/Thursday while the night temperatures will increase a little.
