No more Severe cold wave is expected this season. Temps may rise upto 31'C in day time where as lows will be 15-16'C. A westerly wave is affecting upper parts of the country and likely to persist during next 12 to 18 hours and likely to move over Kashmir and its neighborhood during next 12 hours.

Mainly cold and dry weather is expected in Most parts of the country, however rain (with snowfall over the hills) is expected at isolated places in Islamabad/Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Lahore, Malakand ,Hazara divisions and Kashmir/GB.

CLOUD ACTIVITY NEAR PUNJAB: Heavy cloud presence expected near North Punjab till January 23 morning/mid-day. During that period there are chances of isolated heavy rain in various areas of Azad Kashmir (Haveli, Poonch, Kotli, Bhimber districts and few adjoining areas). Rain likely over Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Lahore, Gujrat, Gujranwala, Jhelum, Sialkot and other surrounding areas of N Punjab. Cloudy with chances of isolated shower/rain over Faisalabad and Okara. Cloudy weather expected over south Punjab with decrease on January 22 night.
